Here we have a giant prop that we were requested to manufacture for an exhibition for tote bags.

A fashion show with recycled products made from IKEA blanket covers. 

In this fashion show, I have designed four garments created from the blanket covers.  Garment 1 (the Kia VMP dress), 

Garment 2 (the Ruby Fringe dress), 

Garment 3 (the 2 Tan full-length puffer jacket), 

Garment 4 (the Sec Tanné  dungarees)

All of the fabrics start out as green. Some are then bleached and dyed in order to create certain garments. For example, Kia Vmp. Despite it's name Ruby Fringe isn't one of these designs, it's name is inspired by the jewlery designer who created the macrame fringe.

TSTmanufacturing in the woven event will be broken in sections, from the TSTSensory exhibition, to the fashion show and workshops.

My aim as a fashion designer is to work with and along side unconservational fabric, to produce wearable and usable products; while expanding creation and creativity beyond the ordinary spectrum.

So join me as I participate in the exhibition and fashion show with Studio 35 Connect, in the Wellness centre during the Woven events at the Piazza shopping centre.

Alongside other heat packs, we're presenting this adorable guy in memory of our lost, beloved pet, Shelly the Tortoise.

Serving as a comforting way for us to keep the memory alive in a physical form, while still spreading comfort to those uninvolved.
